Labour Day catch up with the other side Heathcote River track Ferrymead Oct 24th 2011

Ok had a few mates meet up today, and we walked both tracks. Im in awe, this is awesome, all the history I have never taken as serious, but still being in Orange Zone I have come to love the history and so many hours reading about it. This is going on the track on the opposite side to where I normally go and goes around to the Ferrymead junction, then we walked round and over the Ferrymead Bridge back to my Beri-Ford track, what a long walk....

The pic on the right Im intrigued about, it has a doorway but it has obviously sunk,so what was this?








I managed to get front row seats of the Steam train and the other train that sounded like a fan belt needed replacing :)
